Officers conducted the targeted event on the morning of November 7th on State Route 69 between the City of Prescott and Fain Rd. A total of 77 Traffic stops were made, with 50 speeding citations and 10 other citations issued. Four drivers were arrested for excessive speed, with the top speed being 84MPH in a 45MPH zone. Two other arrests were made, with one of the arrests being for DUI. State Route 69 was chosen for the event due to the large amounts of community complaints about the extreme speed and dangerous driving behavior on the roadway.
