He also coordinates the review and approval of final engineered capital improvement plans, final plats, drainage reports and other documents. He is responsible for managing construction administration, inspection, approval and acceptance of subdivision, commercial and capital improvement development within the Town.

Mr. Pine is also the Town’s FEMA floodplain administrator. He administers the Town’s floodplain ordinances and flood control program. He coordinates and supervises grading and drainage projects within the Town.

The Town is pleased to announce the release of the Town’s new Flood Hazard Mapping Application. The application, like those published by FEMA and Yavapai County, is an interactive web site where users can use a multitude of search and imagery options to view a particular property or structure to see if it is in or near a FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area.

The application will illustrate 100-year and 500-year Special Flood Hazard Areas. These areas represent areas where the risk of flooding is greatest during heavy rain events. The application will also have links to other helpful web sites.

Users can also contact the Town’s Floodplain Manager by email and request a Flood Hazard Determination Letter for interpolation or clarification of a particular property.
