Animal Control

Prescott Valley Animal Control is responsible for the welfare of animals within the town of Prescott Valley seven days a week. These services include:

  • loose dog pick-up
  • pet licensing
  • quarantining animal bites
  • Town parks patrol
  • citations
  • complaint investigation of animal violations

The mission of Animal Control is to promote, educate and enforce the humane treatment of our animal population as well as a dedication to rabies eradication.

Accomplishing this will require providing:

  • Quick and courteous responses to service requests
  • Establishing working relationships with animal rescue organizations
  • Providing education to the members of the community on animal care, rabies eradication, and safety around animals
