Records Section

The Records Section is housed in the front lobby of the police station, we have Spanish speaking available if needed. The department is comprised of Records Supervisor Anabel Solano and five Records Technicians.

Police Record/Report Requests

Requests for police records and reports will be handled promptly based on the nature and extent of the request. If more than 10 days are required (from the date of the request) you will be notified.  Click here to make a request.

Requirements

The report number (e.g. 01-0999) is needed to file a request. If report number is not known, the following is required:

  • Birth date
  • Date of incident
  • Name of persons involved
  • Type of incident

Fees and Exemptions

A flat fee of $5 is charged for copies of the first ten pages (10) of a report and $0.25 per page thereafter. Persons listed as victim in the incident report(s) shall have the fee waived one time.

Other services provided by the Records Section include:

  • Local records check (fee of $5)
  • Fingerprinting Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:00am to 10:00am (fee of $20) Please contact DPS (928) 778-3271 for a fingerprint card or packet as we do not provide them.
