The Department will be hosting its next officer testing on Saturday, October 14th at 09:00 am. This will be thelast test for the year for the January 2024 Academy class. To be placed on the testing list, please complete the steps below:

To be considered for employment with the Town of Prescott Valley, applicants must submit an online application and complete an online AZPOST Personal History Statement.

First: Go to my.azpost.gov , the website for Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training, to create an account and complete your Personal History Statement online. You will be issued a form ID number. Write this number down. Click the “share” button and check the box next to Prescott Valley Police Department. 

Second: Apply online at: www.prescottvalley-az.gov/229/employment for police officer trainees. Once your application is submitted, a background investigator will contact you to obtain your form ID number, send you documents, and schedule you for testing.
